I really enjoy visiting Yellowstone during the winter months. Although the entire park is not open to vehicle traffic, I could appreciate the fact that you don't have as many people there. In any given day, you will see no more than 50 people. The other thing I like is that you can see wildlife that you would not see when the crowds are there.
